Greg Adams, Founder and Head Leather and Steel Smith of Wild Acre Customs is based in Purcellville, VA. An engineer by trade, Greg is also a father, husband and creator of fine steel and leather goods. Greg takes great pride and enjoyment in developing and field-testing all of the products that he creates. Since 2012, when he first fired up his forge and crafted his first knife, there has been a fire for the art that has not diminished.. and is what actually led into the leather making journey that accompanied the business a little while later.
Greg’s interest in steel and leather goods was spurned out of his desire to create handcrafted, American-made goods that would last generations. The appreciation of an item that gets better with age is one of the drivers of his inspiration. The items created at Wild Acre Customs are rooted in a rugged individualism that cannot be found in mass produced goods. Each piece is custom made with an exceptional eye to detail. Each item is crafted to last a lifetime and maybe even one day turn into a family heirloom.
